Free Disaster Preparedness Course
LA City Fire Dept. teaches a free Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) disaster preparedness 7 night course
Learn about earthquake preparedness, light firefighting, triage, first aid, light excavation, disaster psychology, rescue team organization and management.
Must be 18 or over. Non-LA city residents welcome. No obligation to join a CERT team. LAUSD teachers get salary point. www.cert-LA.com. You can make-up any missed class sessions.
Tuesdays, 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (7 consecutive evening sessions)
